1899 (Meiji 32)Founding of the Sataro Imai factory as a weaving factory for striped fabrics
1918 (Taisho 7)Conversion to a towel weaving factory
1943 (Showa 18)As a result of wartime enterprise development, the company merged with other companies and continues as an excellent business
1945 (Showa 20)Imai Towel Factory was established as a stand-alone company after the dissolution of the joint venture
1951 (Showa 26)With the expansion of the business, the company was reorganized as a stock company and renamed Imai Towel Co.
1960 (Showa 35)Due to a sharp increase in orders, an adjoining site is acquired and a third factory is built
